An update on the beavers in Cropton forest was given by the Forestry Commission at the Dalby Visitor Centre on the 26th November. The meeting was well attended where it was reported that the beavers and 2 kits were making good progress with dam building. Interesting video recordings taken over the last year or so were shown where it was clear the changes that had taken place.
Those interested in the future progress of the 5-year trial should contact the Forestry Commission in Pickering.
